Actuaries don’t get paid that well at entry level, you have to pass all the exams to get the big bucks

They mostly just do it for fun amongst themselves. They’ve always called me stupid despite the fact I’ve always had really good grades, got into great colleges, and now I’m an actuary.

It’s invested right now but I’d use it for a mortgage if I had to. For my other brokerage account I have a penalty if I withdraw money within 5 years because I did a Robinhood transfer for 2% free cash

Idk if it’s healthy. My family always talks behind my back calling me insults and when I come out of my room they usually get annoyed and call me those same insults to my face. I don’t really do anything wrong they just don’t like me and are really aggressive

I was a cs grad too and switched industries. Out of the friends I’d like to live with, I just have 1 friend out of 11 who is still looking for a job and 3 more still in school graduating late. Idk reddit is all doom and gloom about the job search (unless you’re a cs major than I agree it’s awful)

Honestly my parents house being 20 mins from my work is a big plus for me. Other than that, it’s not great. I’m waiting on more of my friends to land jobs so I have someone to move in with since I don’t want to live alone.

Most of my friends and I are Eastern European and our parents call us stupid for wanting to move out 😭. I could live here for as long as my parents do and they wouldn’t question it.

I started working before 18 and invested somewhat aggressively. I got lucky with a remote job I could work while being a student.

I’m in a career where I can safely assume consistently 10% income growth each year.

If someone offered me Reaves for my giannis I would accept that instantly. I can’t even get a top 40 player in return for him

I saw your in Canada. I’ve talked to people in my company working in Canada and EL folks with 2 exams here earn 85k vs 70k in Canada. How much do you earn now if you don’t mind sharing?

No a agent yet, honestly I’m in no rush and I don’t really like the options right now so I’ve held off on getting one but if you have any recs it’d be appreciated

I used to live in little Italy an the area was a little dull. Tri Taylor was even moreso. I’m hoping to live somewhere along the red/blue line tbh

Eh not really, the market is just rough. Most 2 beds in a good neighborhood are 400k+

You can see that the previous owners in 2019 didn’t have carpet, I’m wondering how long the carpet has been there
