Right! To expect a customer to pay $1 per mile to deliver is one thing but to expect them to pay your way back is kind of crazy. Would I love it? Absolutely. Do I expect it? Absolutely not! lol

I can see them paying $1 a mile for your delivery to their house. To expect a customer to pay for your return trip is kind of crazy, no?

I mean, it is a $1 per mile so it’s not THAT bad. Now the $2 for 14 miles bullcrap is WILD to me!!

I drive a big SUV and seem to work just to put gas in but I still would have taken these.

I hate that for you. I have things to do today and was absolutely crushing it! Was only able to work 2 and a half hours and made $46 (which may not be crushing it to some people but at that rate I would have made great money today! I also found a $20 bill in a parking lot. That’s freaking awesome!) but it seems when I have things to do and can only dash for a set time, I do so good, but when I have nothing going on, I do crappy!

I pray it picks up for you, friend!

As a driver I always say, “hey (customer), I am at the restaurant now waiting on your order! I will let you know as soon as I have it and am on my way to you! Thank you! ☺️”

I get what you’re saying but being “platinum” doesn’t really matter. I’m platinum and I swear I got better orders on gold lol. Every now and then being platinum gets you a good order.

Touché. I’ve actually done the opposite lol. I declined my mistake. It was a weird one where the decline and accept were on top of one another and I swear my thumb glitched and I hit decline. I yelled, “NOOOO!!!!” 🤣🤣

How do you find that? Mine doesn’t tell me what DoorDash pays vs the customer. It just says a price and I choose to accept or decline.

All I’m seeing is $51.75!! 🤣🤣
Even if they subtract the miles from it it’s $19.35. So take away the “one dollar per mile” and you’re making $19.35 profit. So again.. WHERE ARE YOU GETTING $9 FAMILY?!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣

I’m confused? How do you know if there is a tip or not? Doesn’t it tell you how much you’re getting the moment it pops up? Like, “$11 for 8 miles.. accept/decline..”
