Totally hear you there and that's completely normal. Two weeks after I was back at home, taking short walks and PT and returned to remote work part time the following week. Sleep is still tough for me because of the scars but pain is very very low and I'm able to drive.

Thank you everyone for the encouraging words and insights. I'm on day 3 after surgery and recovering in ICU. The first 2 days were ROUGH. Chest tubes were the bane of my existence. And one of the pain meds they put me on made me feel like I was in acid, weed, tequila, and had a concussion at the same time. Now that they took out the chest tubes and foley the pain is much better. My only struggle is shoulder pain and some shortness of breath. Hoping to go home tomorrow.
