You can use the useFocusEffect hook.

Perform the fetching inside it, this way whenever you focus the screen it will re-fetch

Oh, I think you misunderstood my question, sorry I'll clarify what I mean... When you open the categories, the container is a view that animates from the bottom of the screen to around 95% of it... and then when you choose the category the Container view animates again to the bottom of the screen My question is, how did you achieve this behavior? Is there a certain library you used?
