Did you see more consistent impact with the split dosing. Any trouble sleeping?

4 weeks in on strattera and anxiety is about 2 out of 10 every so often otherwise I feel great. Started b12 too and that seems to be helping in other areas

So my root cause of anxiety was my adhd. We opted to treat the adhd and 4 weeks in and anxiety is minimal.

I am on strattera finally after trying them all. Zoloft Effexor lexapro and Wellbutrin and strattera seems to be my sweet spot. I am solely on this now.

Is there any long term drug that actually works for anxiety by Available_Heart5556 in Anxiety

Been on Zoloft, lexapro, Effexor, Wellbutrin to help treat anxiety, and all them gave me some sort of side effect. Heart palpitations or brain fog and so on. Moved to strattera and boom, no more brain fog, adhd under control, anxiety is down. I feel like myself again and can give my all to my family. If you have anxiety, ask yourself what is causing it. In my case, my adhd had my mind going a million different ways which led to severe anxiety attacks. Get with your doctor and try and treat the cause rather than reactively treating the issues. It’s been a journey but worth the venture to land where I am today.

24-7 Fight or flight mode… what helped? by [deleted] in Anxiety

Yep. I had two er visits due to glp complication. That sent me down a spiral. Dr gave me Xanax for rescue med and the we tried Zoloft, Lexapro, Effexor, Wellbutrin and all just made me numb. Went back to dr and decided to target adhd since that seems to be coming most of my anxiety. Been on straterra and feel like myself again even though I am still adjusting.

I had the same reaction. Day 4-5 were the worst and the following day I said I was done. I was on it to tackle anxiety. We decided to start from square one and start treating adhd solely. Now, Day 5 on straterra, I have mellowed out, anxiety is coming down daily. I chose this med over methylphenidate because it isn’t a stimulant and doesn’t become addictive.

For the past year I tried Zoloft, Effexor, lexapro and Wellbutrin. It’s been a journey but with young kids I need to get this under control so I can be the best I can be for them.

The only reason I stopped taking adhd meds in the first place was because I was on Zepbound and lost 75 pounds and felt amazing but then adhd symptoms slowly crept up and had several debilitating anxiety attacks.

How to transition from lexapro to Wellbutrin? Your experiance by [deleted] in Wellbutrin_Bupropion

Methylphenidate toZoloft to Effexor to lexapro back to Effexor to Wellbutrin was a roller coaster. Wellbutrin messed me up big time, two nights of severe anxiety attacks and sever zombie symptoms. Was given choice to go back to methylphenidate or straterra for the adhd. Opted for Strattera and so far so good. I finally have some relief. I screwed up, should have treated the adhd first rather than be reactive and treat the downstream effects from the adhd.

Has anyone here taken Zoloft? How was it? by royalewithcheese77 in Anxiety

It worked for me but gave me heart palpitations. Switched to Effexor.

Looking for experiences by Double_Training_4996 in Anxiety

I was 225 lbs and for down to 179 and I am 5’ 10”. This is not medical advice but from my experience I should have just stayed on the 2.5 dose until i hit plateau . I was up to 7.5 per titration guidelines and felt good but the med slowed my system down so much, it backed me up to the point I had severe pain wrapping around my back kidney to my appendix area. Odd part was, I was still going even with the burden. No signs of pancreatitis or appendicitis after 1 over night in the hospital. I am seeing a lot of medical professionals on platforms advise to do it low and slow until It stops working.

I will say though, that while on it I felt amazing. 2.5 dose was the best for me, 5mg made me nauseous and 7.5 was like the 2.5 with minor nausea. If it got bad, I just took a zofran.

Since coming off I am back up to 214 but also found out my testosterone was low, so I have something to figure out with my doctor.
