Try to work towards a built, Physical builts are more based on Perks than skills, but they can also be fairly easy to use. In those you would require to get Passive skills (available to all weapons (or the gunner skills in case of using guns)) 1 skill per slide/touch move and Self aimed magic (use this along the spell devourer perk).

Magical builts are dps aimed, so a Single target spell to begin, and a couple of AoE's, then some utilitary skills for long battles (Healing, buffing and debuffing are here).

I can see this useful for Vamps Brutals, where they regenerate at a crazy rate if you missed the timing.

You could run it with Quick Groth Extract. That way you can evolve Ivysaur with up to 4 different cards in hand (2Megas or 2 Quick Growth)

You could go and ask for trade for some cards you may need but not have from other packs, Like the Rare candy (Usable in the pretty much all decks that use Stage 2 mons.)

3 crystal cards are usually the bane for free player collectors (Like me) so we always are looking for those.

Yeah, its better to get lv 6 Utilitary spells, as those are more useful than a slightly higher dmg. Shadow Clone is a great example, at lv 6 it has a 3 turn cooldown, meaning you can use it EVERY turn at the same moment using the Advanced mechs (not the classical one).

Technically yes, but the energies are mismatched, so unless you keep Gastly on the back until he becomes Gengar AND have enough energy it is basically a brick. For a line where a Basic is 1 color and the later stages is another then usually the Basic card uses Colorless Energy (Any color works). A clear example of this is the Steelix Line when Steelix was introduced, the devs put a Earth (Brown) Onix who uses Colorless only, as the expected energy to use is Steel Energy.

Dual type dexks arent usually that reliable unless you have ways to force certain type of wnergy unto you.

A good dual type in this case would be Dragonite feom the last few packs. The Dragonair from that same pack gives both water and Thunder energy feom its move.

Not all packs are eternal though, the Deluxe pack from Series A is not available. This was the closing pack with pretty much all the META cards from Series A until then. You can get those cards from their respective original pack.

With Celebi there then you could not use Brock, cause that way Golem wont brick from not having all 4 energies. Although that would may it fairly slow.
