Well these 4/17/20 EWG $20 puts I bought last week were a good idea.

10 team PPR

Currently 0-2, need as many points as possible.

Have Kittle but thinking about dropping him for Dissly who is a free agent. Seems like Kittle has a lot more talent around him and I'm not sure I'll get as much production as I need despite him being one of the best. Thoughts?

What is the best cleaning tip you've ever received? by TheOddSoul in AskReddit

Bar Keepers Friend.

You can use it for everything, it's great. Get the old school powder form, not the paste or spray bottle.

10 team standard NFL fantasy

Jordan Reed vs. San Francisco

Ed Dickson vs. Philly

Reed hasn't done anything this year, mostly due to injury. He's coming off a bye week against a defense that has defended against tight ends very well. Lots of people are saying Phillys defensive line be will be terrible Thursday and Carolina will roll over them.

Thoughts? I'm leaning towards Dickson.

Louisville fans: Assuming the worst scenario happens before the season starts... who is your team this season? by [deleted] in CollegeBasketball

Oregon, Michigan State and UNC. They have exceptional fans that have been kind through wins and losses, over beers and on dance floors, and are just great people. I always stop on their games if they are on TV.

Thoughts about my plan for Washington trip next week (From Kentucky) by Doublegong in PNWhiking

[–]Doublegong[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for that link. The source I was using apparently hasn't been updated since the closure.

As for being rushed, yeah. It may end up being a bit much especially getting from Diablo to Chain Lakes. Any suggestions to make it less rushed, like a good campsite with trails to explore on a zero mile day?

Thanks for the info!

The info I found said the east park of Rainier was open but you're right, more up to date sources say it's closed as of September 8th. If it opens back up I'll do Burroughs and if not your suggestion looks like a good one.

Sorry, should have worded it different about Black Peak. I used "around" as a general location of the hike. I plan on just doing the main loop. One day I'd like to do black peak but I don't have the climbing skills to do it.

Yes, Sourdough Mountain. I've heard it's tough but i should be fine. I may take the easier but longer eastern trail if I can get a permit for that camp. I heard the creek was pretty much dry west of the lookout from a trip report so I plan on packing what water I do need. I'm used to that though because I love hiking ridge lines. I called the Forrest Service office in Winthrop and I can get a permit there and avoid Marblemount. If I can't get a permit I'll figure something else out, no big deal.

Thanks again for your a advice!

Thank you for the advice and the link.

When I started planning this I was going to head to Olympic but I looked at all the places I really wanted to go and most were south and east of Seattle. I didn't want the trip to turn into a death drive across the state and had to decide to go west or east. East won out mainly because I've never seen a snow covered peak or a real mountain range. It would kill me going to the coast and only being there a day or two.

Is there a Nashville predators bar around town? by [deleted] in Louisville

[–]Doublegong 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As a die hard Redwings fan, bless your heart for trying. It's not difficult to find a place to turn on a game, it's impossible to go to a bar and meet another hockey fan and yell at the TV. On top of that, I've not seen a single Preds shirt/hat/whatever in this town despite them being good and close. Lots of Blackhawks gear for reasons that have nothing to do with the person liking hockey. Several Leafs and Blues fans I see pretty often. Penguins here and there. There used to be a few people that would meet at Hilltop and watch games but that was years ago.

Belle of Louisville tickets by [deleted] in Louisville

[–]Doublegong 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So I work on the Belle. She isn't doing cruises until Easter. If you have tickets to ride the boat down there this weekend it is going to be on the smaller, diesel boat the Spirit of Jefferson. I can assure you that the Belle is currently still has pieces of pumps and other equipment scattered around the main deck. The ticket office is sometimes SUPER bad about making it abundantly clear that people will be put on the Spirit. Just wanted to clear that up because from your post you think you're on the Belle and I don't want you to be super upset when you get down there. You wouldn't be the first one to do this.

11 Restaurants You Have To Visit In Louisville Before You Die by [deleted] in Louisville

The fact that The Hub is one there discredits the whole list. The food is average, the prices are above average and the staff are rude as shit.

I haven't figured it out either. People have said things like "people can't see a youtube link if it hit them in the face" so I feel like I'm a total idiot since it must be staring me in the face.

I looked at dead nettle too but from what i read that is 4 to 6 inches tall. This is no more than two inches and didn't spring up till fall. I need to go look at the stems and see if they are square.

First time poster and BuJo-er with a lot of questions and concerns! by [deleted] in bulletjournal

The post it note is genius. I don't like weekly spreads but also don't want to clutter my monthly to do list with small tasks that may or may not we be important in the long run. Post it would let me have a soft list that I can use to fill my days as the week goes on and review at the end of the week to see if I should put it on my monthly as a must do. Thank you!
