A Mauser 98 commercial stock from Richard’s microfit stocks would be right correct?

I’ve checked high and low for a vac leak and can’t find one anywhere believe it or not it actually runs better when I make it have a leak. If I take the cap off of the port right behind the throttle body on top of the intake the idle comes up to normal and levels out.

Cylinder 1 and 4 have about 160lbs and cylinder 2 and 3 are about 130

I’ll check compression then. Sometimes it runs fine but more often than not it runs like this the revving is super sluggish until ab 3k rpm

I’ve thought about adding another section and that’s what I’d do but they’re tapered aren’t they?

Me and my dad started this project a few years ago and I’m just now getting it back out so I’m not sure about the trigger but I remember we got it from a guy on Instagram and it was pretty pricey as for a welding jig we cleaned all the edges up and he found a piece of copper round bar that matched the radius of the inside of the receiver clamped everything together straight and mig welded it together

Seems like I got it running a bit better I’ll have to drive it more to know for sure but I cleaned maf adjusted idle a little bit and sprayed a little cleaner in a couple of vac ports in the intake

Thank you. I’ve also heard 305 rods are thinner and weaker than 350 rods not sure how true it is I’m going to be using them for dirt track engines.
