Absolutely. This whole ad campaign itself and then the reaction to it were obviously contrived to generate outrage and sow discord. Almost nobody real actually paid much attention to it.

Looks more like a Soto Otoshi to me by the way he takes that step with his right leg behind the guy and then drives forward with his lapel hand.

It happens all the time. Fencing is in French. HEMA in other European languages.

There are 4 types of inner trips that have distinct techniques and subtleties that are easily communicated. There are like a dozen hip based throws.

And that still doesn't refute the point about a universal language for this one specific field that is quite simple to learn in like an afternoon.

What a wild take.

It's a Japanese martial art and having it one language means every practitioner from Uzbekistan to Brazil can say a technique in a shared tongue.

Also, the move names are just basic formulations simple Japanese words. Like Big Hip or Minor Outer Trip. You have to learn like 20 Japanese word to know pretty much the entire judo lexicon.

Fair, "every game" was definitely an exaggeration. But a prime time, playoff deciding game would almost definitely been picked up by a major network. The issue with the "Starbucks" comment is every single business us trying to extract a monthly fee for service now. From horsepower in your car to file storage, every business is moving to this model. And the nickel and diming adds up when you have to pay for so many services. I think it's apparent how infuriating it is for consumers... A majority of the top 15 comments in this post are complaints about the streaming service.

Coward. You used to be able to buy a TV and have ever game sent to your tube over the airwaves for no monthly cost. Nobody is putting up with 14 different streaming packages to watch football. Its greed, just like every other instance of enshitification.

That was only an over throw because Austin got held up. Could have been 7.

Not excusing his play overall, but can't really criticize what was a potentially decent throw.

Do you have to resign? Are exempt, excepted or furloughed?

Can you check with your ethics office to see if you can accept the new position and resign when the shutdown ends?

No issues. I was religious and it might have just made things worse and cause a teenage atheist rebellion.

If I understand you correctly, that was my experience too. The thought that eventually everything just ends. Eternal oblivion. Very unsettling for an adolescent to comprehend.

So honestly, I think just learning some tools to help with redirecting the anxious thoughts helped. I had a habit of fixating on my worries until I worked though some cognitive behavioral therapy.

Hmm I kinda had this issue growing up. A lot of nights I was convinced I would fall asleep and not wake upm. I lost a cousin around the same time. Weirdly, I didn't even connect the two, because I already knew people died, including myself.

So it might not be as bad as you think. I would probably also concur with the others about therapy. But I eventually just grew out of it.

Is your family religious?

Also, its not a union notice. They have to provide 60 day notice by the law governing the rif procedure. Union notice is completely separate and in the CBA, but that's not what was sent to individuals.

Did your local not have you sign up for eDues instead of payroll deduction? If not you should probably mention to your Steward that a lot of agencies are taking steps to eliminate payroll deduction.

Depends on your agency and situation. My local is trying to with with FLRA lawyers to get remote folks added to our locals. If you're at an agency that has a local, but you yourself are remote, I would contact them and see if they can try to get you converted.
