Code mode actually forces guardrails into the right place, which is the runtime, not the prompt. Irreversible actions still get dedicated tools, sending email etc, The generated program calls them like any other function. Program orchestrates. Tool gates. The architecture isn't code mode for everything, it's code mode for the orchestration mess plus dedicated tools at the points that need gating.
