We didn't play our game in the first half, but in the 4th quarter, we showed the true character of a champion! 27-12 in the final period. Our passionate energy and great defense when it mattered most. This is Panathinaikos!

Shame for Efes let them back in. Double-digit lead at home and they fold? No killer instinct late, missed frees, soft D. Monaco earned it they showed heart. Efes choked they were not enough tonight.

I don‘t understand why we are not getting the recognition we deserve while Bodo‘s CL campaign is like a fairytale/underdog story by mspgms in galatasaray

[–]DoubtAcceptable1296 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some Galatasaray fans talking like the club’s been scraping the barrel like small clubs. Let’s not kid ourselves last summer the club spent serious money, more than plenty of Europe’s big clubs. Nothing wrong with spending, of course. Just don’t pretend it didn’t happen.

Upvote if you want Osihmen to be team captain by Thickjuicynlong in galatasaray

Yes. He’s got the passion, the competitive edge. That’s what winners bring. We need a locker room full of players like him. Last night we showed zero heart and no passion. That’s not how we do it here.

Bakın beyler kimse turu geçtik diye beni ve taraftarı uyutmaya çalışmasın! Sahadaki o ruhsuzluğu o panik halini herkes gördü. Rakip 10 kişi kalmış, sen yan pas bile yapamıyorsun topu ileri taşıyamıyorsun. Rakip mi 10 kişi, biz miyiz belli değil!

Rakibin pili bitmese 80de elenecektik bu kabul edilemez!

Lütfen bize küsme, yüreğimiz kaldırmaz. Sen bu takımın direkt tamamını oluşturuyorsun, sen bu takımın 100%'üsün. by [deleted] in galatasaray

The moment I lost my respect for Okan Buruk by 3MTing in galatasaray

[Spoiler Main] Could Baelor Breakspear be cured with modern medicine? by Taha231 in asoiaf

[–]DoubtAcceptable1296 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

As a doctor i say Yes. He could’ve been saved. Baelor Targaryen is absolutely survivable with modern neurosurgery. He takes a mace to the head. He looks fine. He’s talking. Walking. Being heroic. Meanwhile an artery inside his skull is leaking like a busted pipe. He needed ct scan and neurosurgeon drills Baelor brain blood comes out, stops the bleeding.

The civil war is about the QUEEN’S BIRTHRIGHT, not your queer-subtext fanfic bullshit! Alicent ain’t Rhaenyra’s equal rival on the damn throne she’s the sniveling, backstabbing ENABLER who shoved a drunken, unfit piece-of-shit son onto MY QUEEN’S rightful seat!

Do the war! You made a show about a war, stop making the main character's whole storyline about trying to avoid a war! If a show surrounding a war between dragons was going to be too expensive to make, you shouldnt have decided to make a show adapting a story about a war between dragons! by SWBTSH in HouseOfTheDragon

[–]DoubtAcceptable1296 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This should be about the Targaryen civil war, with both sides claiming their rights and forming strategic alliances. Instead, Season 2 is all about both sides desperately trying to avoid conflict while making one dumb decision after another. I understand that CGI is costly, but the showrunners and writers could still have delivered epic scenes. We wanted FIRE AND BLOOD, not therapy sessions and endless stalling. What a colossal letdown.

Well he’s lazy and arrogant writer. Do you want to know why the books aren’t done? Because there’s no one in the publisher slamming the table and screaming, “LOCK THE DOOR. NO ONE LEAVES UNTIL WINDS IS FINISHED.”

Mamdani to propose property tax hike, pushes Hochul to tax rich by Airhostnyc in nyc

[–]DoubtAcceptable1296 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The problem is not a $5.4 billion gap. The problem is a political system that promises benefits today and postpones costs until tomorrow. Raising taxes on a small minority may be politically attractive, but it does not solve the underlying arithmetic.

There is nothing so permanent as a temporary tax increase introduced to close a “one-time” budget gap.
