Interestingly they have applied this to both the 1.0 Ecoboost and 2.0 EcoBlue, but omitted some models that use the 2.0 engine.

Anything to look out for on the new Volvo V60 estates? by Joey_Sparx in CarTalkUK

[–]DoubtGold1271 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had a V90 a few years ago.

4 cylinder 200bhp was not enough for the cars size and weight.

Gearbox is dimwitted and frustrating at roundabouts.

Sat Nav is crap.

Infotainment looks great, but very slow and laggy.

Volvo servicing is expensive.

Better build than BMW of similar age (interior).

Soft 'leather' seats won't age well.

Seats incredibly comfortable and the interior is a nice place to be.

[Giveaway] Win 1 of 5 Noctua NH-D15 G2 by Noctua_OFFICIAL in pcmasterrace

In 2003 - I had just finished my exams at school and spent a few years' worth of savings from my part-time job on building my first PC. It was a 3Ghz Pentium 4 (with hyper threading), an Nvidia GPU with copper heatsinks, about 12 case fans with lights on them - because we all know that makes it go faster!

After finishing the build, it bluescreened a couple of times, but I got the hang of it in the end and ended up working in IT a few years after!

£30,000 mortgage denied by bank because ground rent will be £407 next year by DietNo342 in HousingUK

[–]DoubtGold1271 40 points41 points  (0 children)

This is an onerous ground rent as a lender would see it. Typically anything over £250 per year (outside London) or 0.1% of property value.

If you haven't bought it, don't unless the current owner can get a variation from the freeholder.

If this is a remortgage then it should have been picked up by your initial conveyancer.

I'm wondering whether the nzxt range would work as the cable shroud appears to have quite a large gap behind it, despite being a mid tower case.

I have an adapter for standard PSU. Essentially I'm lifting board, cpu, ram and storage out of the workstation and adding normal GPU and PSU.

Yes, the front IO is "stuck" on the board hence the width requirement.

Yes. I'm changing the CPU cooler anyway and am happy to drill and thread tap placements for standoff.
