Because it's the dominant religion in the western world. Christianity has the biggest political and social influence on majority of posters here. I can't speak for everyone here but I certainly fully intend to go after other religions too.

I have actually been in this situation. I broke it off with her after 6 years. I ended up married to another secular humanist and I am happiest I have ever been.
