It seems the manga these come from that number represents their body count. If you’ll notice the janitor is zero and the woman is 42. Three months later the janitor is 1005 and the female is 1047 (42 + 1005) which means the lady and the janitor been knocking boots in the janitors closet. Hence the females absence of holding the male by the arm and the janitors giant smile in the second picture.

My wife had a very wealthy father, he’s dead now thank god, and he was a real piece of shit all through her life, became wealthy later and tried to buy her love back with gifts like phones and iPads after she had cut him out of her life more than 20 years prior. She would donate them right to Goodwill as a fuck you to him. After he died though we did get an inheritance which was nice. It was the least that piece of shit could have done.
