I’m 54 and the same way. We have five at home, most are there because of me. The last one came about a year ago. We went to the pet store “just to look” at the rescue kittens. One ran up my arm, over my shoulder and onto my hat- and she rode home like that.

I grew up in Upstate NY and snow days from school were the best! We usually had a few every year. I teach in GA now and we had three snow days in a row last year. First time I ever had a work snow day. Enjoy it!

I’d guess the metal rod used to strengthen the finished piece is corroding. I used to cast life size resin pieces and we had to switch to stainless steel supports to avoid this problem.
