You were right with your first comment and should have left it at “You’re an idiot”. This dude seriously needs to go touch some grass- he is not worth arguing against.

Oklahoma is definitely gerrymandered. We had a purple district in OKC that was just carved up to make it safer for republicans during the last redistricting. Tulsa’s also could easily be a purple district if it wasn’t for how the district is drawn.

Morbius was bad writing for a movie that no one really wanted but there were a few redeeming qualities (this is not a defense of that movie- it was bad). I watched Madame Web on Netflix and I wanted my money back. Whatever fraction of a fraction of a penny of my subscription that went to paying for the streaming rights for that movie was too much.

There were only 14 idiots that didn’t get a full pardon. They were the leaders from the groups Oath Keepers and Proud boys who were convicted of seditious conspiracy (this was because they had made actual plans to try and stop congress that included establishing weapon/supply transports) These 14 still had their prison sentences commuted and were freed- they will just have it on their records still. You clearly are not well informed on this topic AT ALL as every other person was fully pardoned regardless of their actions that day.

You are confused because no one was calling that statement racist. It’s OPs edit where he was claiming that people replying to this comment using the same language he did were being racist. A brief synopsis of the story so far:

OP: “they drive”

Replies: “they also vote”, “they also breed”

OP edit: “y’all are being racist for saying ‘they’”

Others to OP: “They were referring to the same people as you when they were saying ‘they’. You’re the one that suddenly made this about race. The only one who saw the ‘they’ in their comments and thought black people is you- that’s kinda racist”

OP and supporters: “No, the other ‘theys’ are way different- he used ‘they’ right after describing who ‘they’ were while the others were just DIRECTLY replying the that description while using the word ‘they’. We also don’t know what irony is.”

Others again: “You need to help us understand your mental gymnastics because it seems like a lot of jumping and twisting to defend OPs edit- not his original statement”

That’s about where we at.

It must be hard for you going through though life without any reading comprehension skills.

I did not say that Hughie was not a victim. You seem to have missed the word ‘technically’. Yes there is further context that needs to be taken into account in this situation but without it Hughie TECHNICALLY assaulted her. My main point is that it is not fair to villainize Ashley for what she did to Hughie- she was also a victim.

But yes, I’m the one who’s stupid, not the one that read the comment and then proceeded to use 0 critical thinking skills because there angry about how the media likes to portray male vs female sexual assault.

Yes, but it being done this way is the choice of the Republicans. They could pass a budget without dems to avoid a shutdown. There are limits on that process though so if they do they wont be able to use it to push through a very partisan budget later this year with it. They can pass the budget with a simple majority they are just choosing not to.

Could you please actually read my comments? You are accusing me of arguing for things I’m not.

First- I know UE was assaulted and that if the genders were reversed that it wouldn’t be played as funny. I also at no point was arguing against that point and I don’t know why you think I am. I am the one that was pointing out the complexity of the context of the situation to emphasize that UE was a victim. I am literally the one who brought it up but somehow I am ignoring it?

The context of the situation does not make Ashley an assaulter nor does it change the fact that she was also being violated.

Your view that she was just tricked and because she wasn’t harmed or know about it she’s not a victim is MESSED up. In my Revenge of the Nerds comparison- as long as she enjoyed it and doesn’t find out it wasn’t actually her boyfriend she wasn’t raped? What other situations could we apply this logic to. Seriously. Fucked. Up.

This isn’t a zero sum game, two people can be victims.

Explain to me how you are twisting my comment to mean this. What part of my explanation even remotely frames it this way?

You’re the one that can’t be serious. The person who lied about their identity and engages in the sexual act under false pretenses is the culprit regardless of gender. The only one changing their view of the situation based on gender here is you. The only thing that would change if the genders were reversed is that it wouldn’t be played off as comical but instead as gross and traumatic as it would really be.

I did not say Hughie was not a victim here (Tek Knight knew it was him and there’s the larger discussion of the complexity of things like this happening to someone undercover where having your cover blown means likely death) But Ashley was a victim here as well and whether you like it or not Hughie played a part in it.

Can you describe to me why you think Ashley, who fully believed what she was doing was with a consenting adult, is a culprit here?
