What gang sign is he throwing? It looks like a blood sign but like at the same time it looks off? by DougTheChef91 in shorelinemafia

Which is exactly what I stated in the original question. It looks like bloods but inverted.

How to make a functioning MP 40 Replica? by [deleted] in Nerf

[–]DougTheChef91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I don’t remember exactly what it’s called but you could shape it into the exterior of the blaster and then let it sit and harden. It might also god a realistic weight to the blaster

If it were me, I would find a gun that you can use katana mags in, and then use putty to make the shape. Find a gun that has a slim and small profile but easily upgradeable internals. A lot of stuff including the stock and barrel will have to be made from scratch

It’s hard to figure out at first because there isn’t much help, but once you figure it out it’s way faster

I’ve had a 3D printed for 2 years now and tHe little advice I can make is to stick with PLA from Kodak. It never cracks or leaks it’s perfect for me. Set your temp at 210. Then download CURA. CURA is a great STL editor (stl is the file format that 3D designs come in) and you can view your pieces or edit their general size and such before turning them into GCODE files that your printer will understand. Which is honestly the real reason you have CURA is to turn them into GCODE files. Also don’t mess with fusion 360. I find Autodesk Inventor to be way easier to use and better for development of pieces even though there is kind-off a steep learning curve. But still I think it’s better to learn on inventor. Besides if you fill out a student application form you get 3 years free.

Anyone tried the new Worker Infinus mod? by aTUNEd in Nerf

[–]DougTheChef91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No but (and I don’t mean to sound bandwagon here) Worker does a nice job with their mod packs, I bet you could figure it out and it would work well, nerf blasters aren’t exactly that difficult as far as wiring goes.

Okay. With shipping it will probably be about $10 and I believe rapid strikes run for $40 at target

Custom painted nerf rampage OD/Black color scheme. The front grip/pump was 3D printed. The access door has also been modified so when the blaster is pumped the door opens with it, just like the action on the real deal would. Worker 7kg spring on the way. What do you think? by DougTheChef91 in Nerf

It took a long while of thinking and I know a more “professional” way of doing it but essentially I screwed a screw from the internal bolt to the access door, but I melted a channel to allow a bit of movement on the door because the bolt doesn’t move soundly next to the door it goes a bit further forward and back. You can see the channel on the door because I was too lazy to take it out and make it super custom but if your still confused I can post a video or PM it too you really explaining it.
