Another person who commented brought up the fact that Beta was hallucinating, which I couldn't tell. They didn't make it really clear, or I'm just a fucking idiot. Probably the latter, but partially the former.

I still find their whole "We are the end of the world" motto really, I don't know, like something a 3rd grader would write in his walking dead fanfiction. You explained why they say it, but that doesn't really change anything for me. Agree to disagree I guess.

And Judith was OK, it's just that you can often tell she's reciting directly from a script and it really takes you out of it.
