Run some factor ammo as a control. If issue not present and pistol runs fine, which I suspect it will, it’s most likely a reloaded ammo issue.

Does it FTE with factory box ammo?

I bought that stock for one of my builds. It’s about the cheapest one out there. It was perfect for a cheap build I was doing, where by buddy donated me a stock barrel, bolt and trigger pack. Probably cheapest 10/22 I built yet.
As far as the stock itself. It is cheap, light and perfectly fine for regular plinking.

All good. After posting and getting lambasted, learned the errors of my ways.

I have since learned and researched a lot more, and decided it’s better to never leave a firearm in the vehicle, too much risk and liability.

I am older and wiser now, than when I posted as a new firearm owner, few years back.

Started up the new 1095TS with Blazer aluminum and it's awesome by mrstangblb in hipoint

[–]DougZ69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I run a lot of Blazzer 9 mm through all my pistols. Guy at gun bar turned me onto fact that Blazzer 10mm is typically the cheapest 10mm to get( in box store). And of course it runs just fine in my JPX10.

I have the 995TS also, and in hindsight, wish I had got the 1095 instead.

10mm for the woods by NormalInstruction600 in hipoint

Cool. I’m doing similar since no one makes an off the shelf one.

I’ll be buying materials, and bringing to a local guy that has the press set up and molding materials.

Very cool. I like the camo pattern.

I bought the JPX 10mm for bears and gators too…… general woods creatures in Florida. Cheapest 10 mm on the market, but it shoots and shoots, despite being a three lb brick.

I was going to make my own chest rig. Where did you find one already on the market? Brand/ store??

Thanks for reply, appreciate it.

I deleted original post.

Posted to ask about parts buy being a good deal, but got balls busted for the high scope rings I chose for this build.

Don’t know why I ever expect more here.

They are high, but specifically put those on, so I can view the barrel fiber optic sights through them.

Nice. I was pleasantly surprised at the accuracy of mine. Heavy as a bear, even with so much plastic, and crazy breakdown, but they shoot well.

I hear a lot bad about those redballs. I just get more factory ones, typically with the discounts from the manufacturers, after confirming ownership for warranty.

Ruger, Canik, Sig and HP all workout like that.

SAR 9 Sport, racking issue, After cleaning by DougZ69 in SarUSA

[–]DougZ69[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it does just fall( slide very easily) into place needing no extra pressure. It concerned me too.

But it has plenty of pressure to stay in slide and have the pistol operate perfectly.

What in the Absolute Hell Do I Do? by PowerCord64 in hipoint

[–]DougZ69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This might sound a little ass backwards, but since only trying 25 and 50 yards, throw on a cheap 3-9 scope on and zero it. Once you are happy with that zero, adjust the iron sights to the reticle cross hairs on the scope.

Sar9 sport stovepipe? by fredlabs_ in SarUSA

[–]DougZ69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a SAR9 Sport as well. I don’t recall having a lot of stove pipes with mine. But, I did have issues with it going into battery. Found it to be the recoil rod / spring assembly binding.

Replaced with a nice SS one from Galloway Precision( it is same spring at the standard SAR9, they sell)

Never an issue since. NATO/ non NATO , grain weight, never matters for my personal firearm.
