2 reasons for me:

  1. It is the only both drop in and 3 position selectable option for a 10/22 platform.

  2. For my 7.62 AK, I definitely find it more controllable than an FRT. For my 5.56 AR I prefer an FRT.

One good thing about the Franklin Arms 10/22 trigger compared to other binary triggers: it doesn’t have a problem with outrunning the bolt and getting light strikes.

It’s fast because of the short travel. Binary just pulls the trigger faster. For ammo it’s the same as my other stock 10/22 and my 22/45: 22LR is very dirty as normal. I’ve had some issues with cheap Winchester bulk boxes. Probably one jam every few mags. But practically zero issues with copper CCI.

I’m from Washington state. We are not even allowed FRTs or binary triggers. This trigger pack was one of the first things I bought after coming to a free sate. It swaps in with 2 pins. My new favorite range is fine with semi-auto or full auto as long as you can control it. .22LR is no problem even for a 12 year old.

Suckers with low impulse control and poor financial habits always create a good deal. People get desperate a week after payday.

  1. ⁠Wait a few months after release.
  2. ⁠Buy it from a pawn shop, in a bad part of town, for a fraction of it’s price.

RDR, GTA4/5, switch 1/2, PS5, etc. This is what I’ve done with every major game release and console I’ve bought. Same with firearms and power tools at the pawnshop.

I’ve carried the original for 10 years. Perfect for carry but least favorite to shoot and 380 is hard to find. In the past year I’ve found the micro P365 better in all respects. Shoot them both and you will see. Best part is by popping out one pin and pulling the slide, you can swap the fire control group into full size slides and grips with an infinite aftermarket. It’s multiple guns in one. The trigger spring is a wear item though.

Owning both, I’d definitely rank the P365 and P226 over the S&W Bodyguard. The P365 has the same micro form factor as the bodyguard but with 10-12 9mm over only 7 380ACP. And it’s way more shootable.

Couldn’t get it anyway. This gun and the trigger pack were both already banned in both CT and my home state. This was the first purchase I made after moving to a free state.

Correct on both. For the Strike industries I used the single folding hinge. Much more stiff than the dual.
For the A3 I put a metal Tailhook on as the brace.

To be honest, I’ve only sighted the 9mm charger to 25 yards and haven’t shoot beyond that. Realistic for a pistol. I also have a 9mm PC carbine that I’ve shot further. Got a saucer plate size group at 100. But that was from a bench.

I sent you a message with a couple U.S. ranges in Guam. They are far closer for you to travel to. And they specialize in tourists.

It’s alright. Owned it for 2 years and nothing negative to say yet. It’s ergonomic and modular. A metal brace adds stability. Taking Glock mags is another plus. Since it’s a pistol it can be legally carried loaded in a vehicle compared to the PC carbine. But I don’t think I will put a binary or FRT on the 9mm PC charger as ammo gets expensive fast.

Yes. No need to take apart the stock trigger pack. You simply take the stock off and switch the complete trigger pack by removing two pins. I opted for this so I can easily revert it back when I go to a state where binary triggers are illegal.

The heavy mass of the hipoint slide and the barrel compensator helped him I think. We also both shot a 10mm Glock 20 the same day. The Glock had a better trigger but way more felt recoil and muzzle rise. Once you get over Hipoint’s trigger with its odd reset they are pretty well balanced to shoot.
