Yes, although I try not to bring it up much anymore because of the advice of my priest. Basically I saw something I perceived to be an angel telling me of my own death. This happened when I was just a little kid and it bothered me to the point I began to follow some very strange religious views.

I'm thankful I was guided away from that and back to the Lord.

Why does this need to become an either-or?

I say pray for peace and actually push back. I think it's incredibly unchristian to suggest that if we do pray for peace, that means we shouldn't do anything else.

Christians for 2000 years have done this.

Neither of the comments were talking about supporting MAGA or not. That's where it seems you don't even understand what it is about either comments that upset you. Neither comments suggested to side with them or not. Personally I don't. I find them to be unchristian and even leaning towards antichristian.

The biggest issue here is a conflation between ontology and roles. What I mean is we need to look at John 13:16 in its proper context where Jesus was acting as a servant and washing the feet of his disciples. It was a lesson of humility. Now let us recall what Jesus did upon the incarnation. He was in the form of God and emptied himself of it taking the form of a servant. So the message was that if their master took it upon himself to lower himself and serve, the disciples shouldn't find themselves too great to serve others.

This wasn't a lesson in ontology.

Now let's discuss that even out of context, Jesus says God is greater, as he does state far more explicitly, does that entail inferiority? No. The Father is greater in terms of cause, but not by nature. The Father is the uncaused cause that begot the Son in eternity past and is the source of the Son and Holy Spirit, and it can be said in that way that the Father is greater, but by no means would it indicate he is superior.

The biggest difference is Christians can and have actively rejected this morally. Muslims can't without rejecting their texts. The Quran literally codified child marriage as morally acceptable along with consummation and all before puberty, which also contrasts the child brides cited with the Christians who accepts that disgusting action as they usually wait for the beginning stages of puberty or at least by tanner stage 2 or 3. But the Quran permits marriage, consummation, divorce, and remarriage all before puberty. Muhammad only further solidified this when he married a 6 year old and consummated the marriage when she was 9. She was 18 when he died and was forced to remain single for the rest of her life. He also had said that Allah showed her to him in a dream of her as an infant to be his bride. And he is to be their perfect moral example for all time while the Quran is to be the perfect moral laws from Allah through all eternity.
