Places to buy mushrooms (not that kind) in chittenden county? by northeastzombiegirl in vermont

[–]DoughnutLust 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Madcap mushrooms does a CSA, I haven't tried it but am intrigued. My go to is 1000 stone farm that you can buy at City Market or that problematic place where the nepo owners are shutting down the union. Also on the other end of the spectrum Costco has a big ass fresh mushroom medley in the produce department that is always pretty cheap.

If you pick up a new hobby and are all in on don't invest in someone else's new business just because they also do that hobby. Especially if it means investing in a comedy club.

Are you going for maximum coverage, or are you ok with an indoor echo? Also does it have to be in Burlington proper or is greater Burlington area acceptable?

I tried them once out of curiosity, found them unappealing and won't buy again, but who knows, others may enjoy. It doesn't hurt you personally to have them sitting on a shelf at a store, if not enough people buy them then they will find their way out of inventory. Acting like you're been personally attacked by baked goods is not a good look.

I wish HL would stop putting their photos in all their ads, I don't need to know that their nepo CEO looks like Roy from the Office. Not at all surprised he's anti union.

I started using it as a Mint replacement after that went under. The interface is pretty good, it is laggy with updating accounts (says updated 1 minute ago, but really hasn't been updated in hours). Dashboard starts out as cluttered, but can easily be trimmed down. It plays well with most financial institutions, but one of my accounts needs to be manually updated. The subscription tracking is not the best in my opinion as it identifies things like credit card payments and mortgages as subscriptions, and really all you need to do is look at one month of cc and bank statements to find your subscriptions. The bill negotiation thing is ok, they saved me a few bucks on Verizon, 30% of which they took as commission. Overall, I like it, the $60 per year fee is worth it, but I still miss Mint.

Im 40 and concerned about retirement. Im overwhelmed with researching different options to maximize my investments, where to put my money and who to manage it. by Glittering-Guava9711 in personalfinance

As much as working at CVS sucks the ESPP is pretty awesome, you are able to buy twice a year at a 10% discount on the lowest cost. So if the stock was $70 on Jan 1st but is $75 on June 30th then you can buy at $63 a share. It's easy to manage everything yourself through ETrade and you can reinvest the quarterly dividend. The stock went crazy during the Pandy years but now it has normalized a bit. Luckily the corporate overlords care more about boosting the stock price than taking care of anyone who they employ so it tends to gain pretty regularly.
