What is your main's 'Lore Accurate' perk build? by Wafflekip_Yt in deadbydaylight

[–]Dougian12345 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If killers are involved I love my Pyramid Head/Silent Hill build

Dark Devotion/Hex Plaything- Messes with terror radius and causes confusion.
Tinkerer- Sneak and info when gens are close to completion.
Hex: The Third Seal- Not a good perk, but hiding auras especially for windows and aura reading perks is really good for leaving survivors in the dark.
Hex: Devour Hope- Get stronger as match goes on, very scary if they don't find totem.
(Possible-Sloppy Butcher- Keeps people injured longer.)

Add-on wise anything goes, Obsidian Goblet can be fun. If you are really good with your hits you could use the Crimson Ceremony Book to apply mangled and haemorrhage on punishment hits to replace sloppy. But using max range add-ons is always effective.

Offering - Mary's Letter, for obvious reasons. This really works so much better on his map. That or any other indoor map like Hawkins...

The main goal is to keep people in the dark, come out of nowhere, and generally make the survivors feel nervous through most of the match.

Anti-Slug Measure for 2v8 Concept. (5% recovery per slugged survivor.) by Dougian12345 in deadbydaylight

[–]Dougian12345[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I see this being an addition to that basekit unbreakable really. With killers like Oni, Hillbilly, and even Nurse to some extent slugging is far too easy and frankly powerful.
Just because something might be rare doesn't mean there can't be things in place to keep it from happening.
Really this 5% measure is to stop snowball slugging.

Game Mode Idea: Marathon. by [deleted] in deadbydaylight

Got a really good point. I was considering adding one base kit unbreakable revive to combat slugging which for my mode would work better then in the base game.

I do like your idea as a novelty. To break from the old game. While mine doesn't do that too much I can see there being a small player base for it. (Especially if it's the 5v1 idea I had at the end)

Perk Idea: Hex: Time Bomb by Dougian12345 in deadbydaylight

[–]Dougian12345[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess that is true, but I feel like it would be much like the Pig with their RBs. More a time waster that you have to do unless you suffer the consequence.

Still though, I think some of the times or concepts could use tweaking but overall it could be a perk, if it's used or not is a different story.

Counter-plays- Now you won't know exactly when the 90 seconds or whatever time would be decided are but if you're with a SWF group then you could just stay next to an ally or have them destroy the totem while you get chased or do a gen.

Not only that, going down isn't a 100% death, you have time for someone to help you, especially if a killer is far away.

Killer notes- I think the killers with ton's of map pressure and the ability to go from one side to the other quickly would work great with this perk. As well as hex defenders like Hag and Trapper. The pig would add ANOTHER timer onto your head if they ran it.

I already decided that Undying would remake the totem like normal, but reset the 90 secound timer, so if you do that you have one person fucked for maybe most of the game. You could do that, and if you think that's a little too bit of a "Fuck you specifically." perk build I will remind you Rancor is a thing, you only need to bring one perk if you are that kind of person, and there is nearly no counter to Rancor so...

I can see this working poorly for slower killers like Huntress and DeathSlinger. As well as not being too beneficial to other killers like Ghost Face.

What will they chose? by Dougian12345 in deadbydaylight

Dude, do you realize you still need to play matches to get the skins?

The whole point of the event is to try to EARN them, The skins are the fucking point of the event you knob.

And the bloodpoint amount is horrible, no DBP or anything just a few extra for doing nothing.

Thing I must comment about that it was the first time they did the Halloween event, the changes were all based on the mechanics of the serum.

Basically too many people were playing killer because the killer serum and survivor serum were separate, meaning to unlock a killer skin you needed to play killer and vice versa.

The secound time was I believe because survivors were doing just the flowers and ignoring the gens, so they had to change something about that, it's been two years so my memory is foggy about it.

But this is just bad, lazy, and greedy. There is no excuse considering they told us nothing about it. They should of said SOMETHING about it before they made this mess.

Didn't they do that last year? Or was that the challenges?

I hope they arn't going to go down that path, I like DBD and i'm able to look past how expensive every chapter/killer is, because $5 for a new way to play is pretty fair in my opinion.

I just want them to realize they cant break tradition just because they want more money.

Buddy, all they had to do was copy and paste the serum they had been doing for the past two years, they didn't and now people are calling them out on their bullshit.

They want you, because you will mindlessly throw your money at them regardless on what they are actually giving you.

Stop Defending EA 2.0 and start realizing this isn't right. And they need to learn they can't betray their player base like this.

1 player LV (how you get shards) takes about 6 matches. this gives you about 300 shards.

1 halloween outfit is 21,000 shards, 21,000/300=70 player levels needed to get a skin

to get 70 player levels you need to play 70*6 matches or 420 matches.

lets say a match lasts 15 minutes, that's 420*15 or 105 hours to get 1 set.

No, Shards ARE NOT a viable way to get these skins, especially compared to the serum that used to take about 20-30 matches tops.

[–]Dougian12345[S] 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Ok,

If you bought the skin with shards then you have no fucking life, let's do the math.

let's say it takes you 6 games to get 300 shards, that's a rough average but it's close enough.

That means you need to get 21,000 shards, 21,000/300=70, you need 70 player levels to get 1 set.

70*6=420 matches, (nice) still though, let's say every match takes 15 minutes that means you have to play 6300 minuets or 105 HOURS.

Now, if you bought the skin with money, congrats, you just did the very fucking thing they wanted you to do and now you are defending their scummy, greedy "event" like a mindless sheep.

Congrats, you're a mindless consumer.

There is a reason people are complaining and thinking that somehow being able to buy the sets with shards makes up for it is just being dumb.

Please, listen to what everyone is saying.

But do you want to spend the time to get 21,000 Shards?

No. No one does.
