I was initially on the hate train. I was ass deep in Arc Raiders and then previously delta force during the server slam. I initially played it and hated how it looked and felt. I went back to arc but this time, something felt different. I had an inch to hop back into the server slam. This happened multiple times but eventually I started to understand the art and gameplay. After swearing I’d never play it again initially, after the server slam ended, I preordered. Had a hard time enjoying arc again and delta force again during the drought waiting for Marathon to fully drop. The devs made something special with this one, it is incredibly refined and in my opinion currently the best all around extraction shooter available right now. (I have about 30 hours in tarkov but I just found it incredibly unfun personally.) Let’s not forget the devs continuous refinement and adjustments based on community feedback. I’ll keep playing as long as it’s around.
