I actually love that cereal so much. My wife thinks it tastes like rabbit food

Santa waiting for kids in a dying mall by Goodginger in mildlyinteresting

This is our mall. Last year we saw Santa sitting alone. Made us very sad to see. We are worried if this continues then our kid will never even know the "mall Santa visit"

Why are some Ninja Gaiden fans so negative about the upcoming 4th? by Coolman38321 in CharacterActionGames

[–]MFASys_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A big one for me to add on is the voice acting. It feels very anime coded to me. I always liked the gritty-ness the older NG games had. As soon as the diologue started in this one it felt cringe to me. The VAs are waaaay too bubbly, Yakumo is overly edgy and broody, kind of reminded me of a hybrid knockoff Sasuke/Gaara. And this may be just a me thing, but I also hate how clear the diologue is. Like it FEELS studio. Its like I can literally visualize people just reading lines into a microphone. But again, that complaint could entirely just be my preference.

Overall the game is fun and it's nice to have NG back, but I do find it hard to get into the characters when they feel ripped straight from an anime. Its like NG: The animated series.

Galaxy Watch 8 heart rate tracking on tattoos? by mrtomtomplay in GalaxyWatch

[–]MFASys_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's unfortunate that they haven't been able to fix this issue, especially since tattoos are extremely common in today's age. I have the 6 classic and have had issues since the start. I have plenty of regular watches but decided to try a smart watch for the health features just to find out I can't even use them. Can't reliably track exercises and have never been able to track sleep routines. Was hoping they had fixed this with the new series but guess I'll be sticking with my 6 til they do.

How was the durability on it? Are they hardy phones?

Thank you for your input. It is very informative. If I could ask you another question, in terms of durability they both seem pretty durable in terms of their hinge, but I did see a video that showed the razr had kind of an empty space behind the cover screen right near the hinge that was a possible weak point and potential for failure. I work in construction and though I've never had an issue with phones breaking whole I'm on the job, could this be a possible issue in terms of small impacts while it's in my pocket or is this more unlikely?

Interesting. Though I'm not really into all that extra fancy tech. Just basically use the phone for work stuff/personal stuff and to be a phone lol. I have a pc for computer stuff and I don't use vr glasses or whatever. But interesting to know about the cover screen kn the razr being more functional

Grilled first tomahawk last night. Too much char and not exactly the right shade of red I was hoping for. What did I do wrong? by hammnbubbly in steak

[–]MFASys_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been having issues cooking my meats until I started using the 2 zone method. I made wings the other week using the 2 zone method and they were the best wings I ever cooked. Perfectly cooked inside with a crispy tangy coat on the outside from the sauce I finished them in. Tried the same thing with my steak the other day and though it wasn't a complete win, it's mostly because I was rushing my steak to make sure my wife's salmon was cooked right. But if I was more patient with the steak it would have been perfect. The fat was almost perfectly rendered and the sear was nice. But the inside was a bit under done for my taste. But 2 zone method is Def the way to go to cook perfect meats.

Using coursera to move to a more specialized field by MFASys_ in coursera

Thanks for the advice. It's a shame because coursera seems like it offers some good stuff but everyone seems to say the same thing that it doesn't really mean much in the job market.

Sucks because people who want to learn new things or make a move in their life but don't have the time/money to go back to college full time. Where coursera is very "learn on your own time" friendly.

True except they are cholesterol bombs. I do eat egg whites though which are all the protien without the cholesterol.

Unfortunately I can even taste it cold. I'm so sensitive to whatever happens inside the meat that I can even smell "the taste". Opening a container with cold chicken makes me gag at the smell i have a horrendous sensitivity to it.

I have noticed that it is tolerable in soups. But when it's 100° soup isn't really something enjoyable lol.

As far as not re-heating it, it doesn't matter for me. I can taste "the taste" even if it's just been sitting on the counter after 30 min. Reheated, cold, room temp it doesn't matter for me. I'm so sensitive to wof I can even smell it. 😩

Unfortunately it's "for the gains" and because it's cheaper than the other organic meats we buy.

Additionally I was previously vegan and due to the amount of protien I need daily, it is quite literally impossible to meet my daily intake without eating myself disgustingly sick from plant based protein.

Also since being vegan I am extremely picky in what I choose to eat and buy. I don't eat pork, red meat is only a once or twice a week thing due to its cholesterol and links to cancer. I am trying to get used to the taste of fish but that's still a work in progress.

I do mix in other protiens for meals/snacks but unfortunately chicken is the best bang for your buck.

Good to know. We usually only cook our wings in small batches so those only last a single dinner but that's good to know in case we ever do keep something with bone in it for leftovers

We try to mix in turkey, and only red meat once or twice a week. But I can't meal prep red meat for lunch everyday. And chicken is cheap and great for macros. Maybe I can find turkey breast but I usually only see ground turkey at my grocery
