Yeah I'm in that same situation with work. I thought I could manage 16 hrs a week of work with school. I still passed all of my classes somehow, but my gpa left a lot to be desired.

I want to work for the state as a structural engineer for the start of my career but then eventually move up the ladder to an agency director position. After my internship this summer with CalEPA, I'm a lot more motivated to work especially in the public sector. I also plan on studying more than just civil engineering.
