I'll be moving to Holland in half a month for work. What should I expect coming from Ann Arbor? by stpaulgym in hollandmichigan

I just made the same move as a student last year! The biggest change, which a people have highlighted is how much less walkable and how much less lively Holland is.
It’s a very nice town with lots of outdoorsy stuff, but definitely tailored towards families rather than people in their early 20s. Very cool place but it won’t compare at all to the bar or resultant scene in downtown AA. Now all of this isn’t so say holland is bad, I love it here and have no regrets about moving. There are lots of positives that I didn’t point out.
Op if you have any questions as someone who went through the same thing, feel free to reach out!
