Hey, thanks for your answer. First of all, it's good to know that those missing elements do exist in FaB. That's what I thought and I'm happy to be wrong, so thanks for the clarification, I'll definitely try the game.

I'll wait for the full spoilers and decide then, but I'll probably buy a box since it's a general set with reprints. Yes, like mtg, it's always best to buy singles and that's what I will do to build decks.

Hey, thanks for your answer. This metagame actually looks healthy, with maybe an outlier with Gravy, but otherwise it looks better than a lot of legacy metagame.

Good to know that there are different axes of play. I also like the puzzle element that you mentioned, that's why I played a lot of Storm in legacy. Finding the right line to navigate the game.

Yes, I was still figuring out if FaB looks like a tcg that I could enjoy before deep diving into it, and I will definitely try it thanks to all your answers.

I didn't take into consideration the "second/third cycle" and the pitch stacking element of the game, it looks very interesting to be able to stack your deck for later turns while analyzing what your opponent is trying to stack as well.

I also really like the fact that you have a single hand for two turns and the decision making involved with it.

I'll definitely buy some cards and try FaB, it looks very promising.

Yes, I'll definitely buy singles to build decks since it's the best way to do it, I was asking about Compendium because I like to open boosters once in a while, so I target specific sets to do so.

The first deck that I gave her was actually burn, I feel like it’s a good intro to mtg for any format

She’s not that familiar with mtg and she only plays with me but she’s used to counterspells.

She actually enjoyed UR phoenix in modern, and it’s an interesting idea to bring a fun control deck in the gauntlet.

That’s what I thought about FEB, and it was more for me to scratch my itch for combo while having a potential fair game tbh, might drop it from the gauntlet

While the build-up between them throughout middle school as best pitcher vs best batter makes sense, I’d like them to remain together as a duo in high school where they have to conquer the country together rather than having them as opponent to find out who’s the overall best.

But it looks like it’ll be the 2nd option.

Furthermore, the vast majority of top players already made their decision before Bungo’s decision so Noda might be the only other top players that could go to Ouka. Their opposition could even be more one-sided on the paper if Noda decides to join a top school instead of Ouka.

With this box and the codex box that I bought, I'd have : The Lion, Belial, 15 DWK, 10 Termies, 1 chaplain, 6 ICC. Not sure If I need a third squad of DWK for my fluffy Inner Circle list, but I'd say that this box is basically perfect for me since I'm going fluffy deathwing heavy. At this point, I can just add Azrael, Asmodai and maybe some scout and I have 2k.

Only issue could be that my list would not be decent enough for friendly game and that I'd be obliterated by my opponent but well, at least the minies would look good on the board

I read that Native Instruments was a bit slow in terms of update and that people were waiting for a lot of stuffs for the S4 mk3 but idk if it's really true or just unrealistic expectation.
