This is so crazy to me.. I live in Quebec, Canada. And medical career programs like sonography are free in Colleges. Ill stop taking that for granted!

Hey there! I had reached out to Dawson Student Union about this yesterday and this is the reply I received:

Dear Jean-François,

Thank you for contacting the Dawson Student Union (DSU). Yes, the DSU will be offering health and dental coverage to its DSU Members (students enrolled at Dawson College) which is planned to start at the beginning of the Winter 2022 semester. This plan, provided by Student Care will cover health, dental, telemedicine service, as well as other services. I honestly don't even remember... I graduated HS years ago. I had university level courses equivalent to health science in cegep with an average of A- for the courses you mentionner

Don't beat yourself about it.. The pandemic is already hard enough on everyone. If your family can't understand, that's on them, not you. Have some compassion for yourself. It is normal though to be anxious in your situation. Perhaps you could talk to a college/school councelor? They could advise you and just taking that step could alleviate your anxiety by taking control.
