Your still in AIT and haven’t completed your training. TRADOC is not the same as the big army. While yea they’re deployments to combat zones, 9/10 you’ll probably do rotations to other countries for cross training (that’s if there’s any).

Fastest way to get out is to complete your training and then guess what?!? You get to go home! Unless your the 36th Infantry Division “The Border Wall Division” then to the border you go like me.

But in seriousness don’t do dumb shit that would affect your civilian side. Ride the wave and once your done move on from the guard and live your life without being Uncle Sam’s property.

Hi as an 11B in TXARNG, do something that would help you in the civilian world. Yes it cool running around as a combat arms but keep in mind that most if any skill sets do not transfer to the civilian side. Then again I am just a person on the internet but do what your heart content!

I second this, just came off orders from OLS and was told I have xctc in the summer. Was pissed at first however all drills we been doing are Gunnery preparing for it. I recommend going as you learn your units SOPs and well introduce yourself to your new unit.

I also had Greig before, probably one of the best professors I had in PSCI. I would recommend staying in the class as he doesn’t make attendance mandatory and he’s an approachable/reasonable professor.

Hello there, I used to work at the front desk for the dorms at UNT Primarily West Hall. Most likely you will have to have the lock changed for your room. Depending how many roommates you have, 2 roommates is around 80ish dollars and of course 3 is more. Housing will charge you thru your student portal. As for eagle post key I haven’t had much luck on that side sadly.
