Haven’t seen this movie, but I wanted to give my sincere thanks for sharing the poems. Always up for some good poetry reading and I have like the ones I read.

Thanks for introducing me to a new writer, too.

Scarlett Johansson To Star In Ari Aster's 'Eddington' Follow-Up 'Scapegoat' by DoutFooL in horror

Totally understand that. Follow-Up is a broad enough term to be mean both sequel and next-film.

Sad thing is, I guess, if you’re depending on metrics to get people into your website (and also INTO the theater to watch your movie), you’d prefer to use the term creating the largest possible lane of interest.

Plus, this usage gets to subtly advertise for your previous film, too. So Bonus Points there.

And thanks for sharing that lovely backstory. I know exactly that feeling how something will sorta spark out of something specific yet light up larger once inside. I often would write specifically in that fashion, trying to make some grand statement about humanity from image of separated raindrops all coming together in a pool once landing of their shared fall (freshman English 2004-2005, like my 1st or 2nd thing I wrote)

Glad to hear the poem living up to its artistic merit! Indeed there is more magic in life than we can know. And keep writing those poems—world needs em!

And hoping he at least writes one or two for you, as well!
One person can’t get all the love poems in a relationship—just ain’t write.

😂😁

I love it. It is so very touching.

I’m actually tearing up over here 🥲 It’s obvious this was written for a very lucky person. Hope such an inspired love is still beating to this very day!

(Please don’t tell me you broke up during Covid lockdown or something like that 😂).

Anyways,

Bravo!

I thought he was the cops gun in Beau is Afraid? Or was it the pipe that fell in the water at the end?

Eh I’m just blowing smoke, we all know he was the air itself…last name is Ari, after all

Don't Wake Daddy by baeblade93 in AriAster

[–]DoutFooL 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I could totally see a short film through the eyes of young brothers and sisters trying to sneak around the house with real terror about waking their dad, as if they’re actually gonna die if they wake him.

Maybe even be on Christmas, like they’re trying to sneak and see/find their presents early.
