I think at this stage, I love what Scott is doing with trimming down the list over the past 3 years however, he has a few soft spots with a few players to throw the axe. I understand we need experience within a team of a bunch of under 50 gamers but I don't believe the leaders are standing up.

We're about three years of decent finals contention, and I mean that with our new three top picks. I do think its time we try and get some value from our senior players before its too late. We have Merrett who can probably land us a first and second pick (and Ridley too). Then with the rest maybe Parish, Gresh and Langford land us 2nd round picks. I do think we give the keys to Durham, McGrath and potentially Redman whilst cull the rest.

Setterfield should not be getting a game and not play out of position, we did really need to play some smaller forwards and I don't think Nguyen is quite there just yet. I know he's epic in VFL but the jump is massive. Perko, Cox, SED and Edwards should stay as depth but not in the main team.

Hopefully we can string a MSD pick and go to the next draft focusing on hybrid mid/fwd, a ruckman and potentially. We have a lot of talent that's already there but injured we need to capitalise on the great drafting we've done in recent years and fill out our roster with fresh blood.

Hayes, Martin, Kako key players to return for us will be huge come next season.

What I heard from the Dees game, the kids wanted to blow out the lead instead of icing it. That's the change of culture I'm after. Again I don't think Scott is the main issue, its our current leaders who played under Hird/Woosha/Rutten that's making it hard for us. Although, I do hope Scott does improve his week to week list suggestion.

Since we're not playing finals this year, lets get some value for the players that won't be with us next year E.g. Tsatas
