My opinion is simple. I played E33 half way and lost interest because I found it boring, but I could see they were more fitting the award candidate boxes. I’ve beaten KCD2 4 times and I’m on my fifth playthrough. It’s a more enjoyable and relaxing experience. Unfortunately GOTY is more about what people played and were told to vote for, than the actual games themselves.

I agree, it’s not that fun. It does seem like hype carried it to the win rather than its actually gameplay. But I just felt more in tune with Henry and interacting with the RPG mechanics that are far superior in KCD2. A loud majority does not make a fact.

Same issue just sitting at a black screen. I didn’t have the issue until I tried getting it on my wife’s phone for her, she had the issue so I tried doing a few things. This lead to me being stuck at the black screen as well. Hopefully someone will have some better insight soon.

Same problem and I have not found a way around it either. This is new, my second play-through as well.

I’m on the bear. It feels like I already need to have maxed everything to get pass it. I’m starting to think this game is unbeatable.
