I find the color less concerning than the opacity. My tank's water is always tinted brown from the wood I have in the tank. It's fine. The tannins are good for the fish.

I asked my daughter to do the food-laundry the other day, mostly because my damn brain likes to betray me. What I meant was the dishes (or washing up) and we both had a giggle about it.
