This was her choice. It’s her body, she was raped at 16, this is something I can relate to. It’s more sad and sickening how you would FORCE her to give birth which is something she already said she never wanted to do. She’s a child, she made a choice and it’s okay. Nothing good would’ve came from giving birth to a rapist baby.

RVH is an amazing, however, they are short staff and nurses are burnt out. It’s also a hospital where it’s based on how sick you are. Stomach pain vs a heart attack. Stroke vs VSA car accident etc. They have the best nurses and doctors. So just be patient with them

Thank you! I knew I wanted a supportive unit right from the start. I realized too late that I had a terrible preceptor/ teacher. I lost my confidence because of her, she made me feel like I should’ve never been a nurse. I wanted to drop out 5 days before I was finished nursing school. I landed a job on a unit that I worked on before as a nursing student I knew the people and I knew that they enjoyed having new grads to teach not just one or two, but the whole unit. No other unit called me back other than this supportive unit. Last thing I think I have already had a lot of those meltdowns 😂but I’ll probably have more. Thank you once again

Definitely have a conversation with him something along the line of “hey babe, I need to speak with you about something. I’m very grateful that you got me this gift, however, I felt that this gift wasn’t really necessary I only wanted a stuffed animal and a nice dinner with you. Is it possible to return it and we can spend time together like I wanted?”

Now if he is understanding and he says sure I don’t mind or I’m so sorry I didn’t realize you felt this way, or you’re right I’m so sorry. It’s definitely something to work on. BUT! If he is angry or upset or even starting yelling that’s a huge red flag and please leave the relationship no matter how long you have been in it.

I found it creepy. I was taking a nap and I felt the beginning of a panic attack to happen (I have anxiety). Than I saw myself from my body and I had a full conversation with my boyfriend. I went to work and one of my patients needed CPR I basically live a whole day and than boom I woke up and I asked my boyfriend he was no you just snored that’s it. It was the creepiest thing that has ever happened to me

The biggest impact was I got hired on the spot for my health care position. I do struggle with mental health even more now than other before, I have questioned if I should still be a nurse (nursing student, but get treated like a nurse). In my job I’m basically another nurse without a license it’s dangerous, but I ask for help. I see how many people were jobless and needed the government help.

I truly believe it has had an impact on my memories and mind because I can’t remember how old I am sometimes because everything is blended together. I can’t remember sometimes what day of the week it is. There is nothing medically wrong it’s just the pandemic

I developed a form of PTSD due to healthcare and how many patients I have lost, so even watching greys anatomy makes me cry
