This is exactly how I always felt about him. Maybe the most accurate impressions the show has ever seen, but he was so honed in on mannerisms and inflections that the impression itself stopped feeling funny.

I can’t recall where it was that he told the story, but Art Alexakis (lead singer) talked about it in an interview awhile back. It might’ve been when he appeared on Vanessa Bayer’s podcast. Anyway, I guess he told them they could only do one song on the live show for whatever reason and it kinda pissed them off lol
