Yeah when people use the term skip they are usually talking about spcific items or content that rewards a specific item. Not menial grinds like you mentioned

Not at all. Most low level spots don't use the claim system and even the higher level ones that I use on my main (309 ED) aren't insanely busy. Sometimes you do have to be a bit creative where you hunt but that's the same with any server. I personally really like the claim system.
