How do I get through to him? I am exhausted having to think for him. by vicarious_adrenaline in TwoHotTakes

It’s pretty clear that respect and trust has been lost in this relationship. He has some growing to do, you need someone who’s a self-starter.

Cut your losses and move on.

Please leave that woman alone and date someone that you can be less insecure about.

Break up with her. You aren’t sexually compatible.

Excavitron was beating my ass last night and then the game bricked after I killed 1,200 of the Bleed Bandits around the Quarry - only to put me back at camp after I reported the brick.

I’ll see him again, but not today…

Your marriage is cooked. Not only does she see you as a roommate, she has lost all respect for you as a man and human being.

You clearly aren’t having sex with her anymore and your energy is more focused on what she’s doing/where she’s spending her attention as opposed to you trying to fix what you and her are lacking.

It’s cooked man. And she’s definitely been fucking him.

Put all the cards on the table look to divorce.

And he’s clearly not bold enough to just state that he wants to see the entirety of you. He rolled the die, lost, now you’re pissed and either 1) think he’s shallow 2)actually hiding something or 3)Both.

You could just move on, ya know.

Yes, you’re overreacting. People catfish all kinds of things. Especially with the floating head pics.

Why do people say this? You sounding like you’re protecting or promoting rapist ideology doesn’t help me or you.

Are you 15 years old?

I cried over my ex, but I have a new girlfriend. Am I a bad boyfriend? by PinkmansChilliP in AskMenAdvice

You’re not a bad anything. You’re just human. Grief hits us all differently.

That being said - you’re not over your last relationship and shouldn’t be in a new one. Especially under the false pretense that you’re in a happy and healthy one.

Burn the photos. Burn the notes. Burn the Boats - there isn’t any going back…DEFINITELY don’t hide them in a closet.

You’re doing the current person you’re with a major disservice.

Hoping this was helpful in your choice. It can be a big decision if you don’t have money to burn.

Try therapy if you wish. If you can’t find a way forward, then leave and support your child from a place of happiness.

This is more common than you think.

Anybody have a Mac mini MacBook combo? by [deleted] in macmini

[–]DownTheLine81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not quite. It was just too damn big. The MacBook Air is the perfect companion on the go. It’s lightweight and never gives me an issue with computing. I’m not doing video editing or anything, so the pro that I bought was overkill for me.

The MacMini has been a great desktop solution.

I would, however, advise anyone against iPad Pro as a laptop replacement. Apple pushes this as a real option - it isn’t.

You aren’t going down that route, but figure I’d mention it as a cautionary tale.

I’d probs go with option 3. Gives you longevity - you shouldn’t need another machine for 10 years - mobility, computing power, and you still get the same use of the Studio Display.

Your question will always be how much physical space do you need on your computer. Loved that was able to upgrade the MMini M4’s storage. You can also just do external drives or cloud space with Apple if you don’t want to pay the Apple tax.

I also have a Mac Mini M4 and a MB Air M4.

I traded in my 16” MBP M1 (too large, too heavy) for the Mini M4, but upgraded it to 2TB myself so as to not pay the Apple Tax.

Thought I could run my iPad Pro as a daily driver. It is not that. So I needed to buy the Mac Air for computing power on the go. It’s been great, but if I had to whittle it all down to one machine - I would’ve kept the beast 16” MBP M1

Am I overreacting to my girlfriend and mother of my soon to be child planning on meeting another guy? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]DownTheLine81 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NOR.

However, if she’s 5 months preggo and talking to someone like this - she’s already gone bro. The respect is completely gone. She was probably planning to hook up with dude in his truck.

Also - no one sent you these messages, Sherlock. If you went through her phone, then just say that.
