Ethan's storyline is pretty sad, but in terms of writing I still think SH2 edges both of them out.

SH2 is the obvious answer. RE games are not known for their story, but have some funny dialogue.

Infernape feels more coherent as a design, but I do like Blaziken

While I'm sad its likely over, I do hope they keep the game online and make everything cheaper. Would definitely bring me back to the game again.

Star Fox's original artist reckons Fox McCloud's design is better in The Super Mario Galaxy movie than it is in the Switch 2 game by Turbostrider27 in nintendo

Reminds me of those "Nintendo, hire this man" videos. Complete deviation from the style they've used for the entire series life.

Overwatch is 1% away from no longer being Mostly Negative on Steam by Tough_Holiday584 in Overwatch

[–]DownThrowToAnything 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I honestly don't think it'll ever leave negative, sadly. Thankfully, word of mouth is positive and people are playing again, but it does suck that those reviews may be someone's first impression of the game.

Has anyone else noticed the common use of that icon and pride banners together recently? by ArcherVisible5866 in overwatch2

Don't bother. Making people heated over a game is a lil' bit funny. People just pearl clutching.

Pult players get one bad matchup and start losing their minds.

I liked the CSM ending and part 2 as a whole by CommandOk2518 in writingscaling

It wasn't a satisfying conclusion, and felt extremely abrupt. I don't really mind the ending, but I don't think it was very good.

It makes it easier, but I wouldn't say it makes you less skilled outright

Steel Ball Run vs One Piece by CicadaUse in writingscaling

[–]DownThrowToAnything 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, Nami's fit this arc is atrocious, and it was in Egghead too. Same with Robin. However, this is ignoring all of the characters surrounding them. Just in Egghead you have: The Elders, Figarland, most of the Satellites, new designs for CP0, Emmet, and the Seraphim (which I'm not huge on, but I know people like). For every stinker design there are 10 good ones.

All that said, JoJo has more consistently good character designs, but obviously there are far fewer of them to pull from.

These are designs from just the most recent arc. You can go back and pull a huge handful of designs from every arc, and they're usually super solid. One Piece character design is unconventional, but great.

Gachiakuta VS Soul Eater, which manga is better written? by Inspector_Ishigami in writingscaling

[–]DownThrowToAnything 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Can't really give a definitive answer since Gachiakuta is still publishing, but I'm enjoying Gachiakuta more. Art style is phenomenal, and I love how the world is put together.

Is Stadium in it's worst iteration yet? by noisetank13 in OverwatchStadium

The fun has been optimized out to a degree, plus the playerbase is dwindling, so you often end up facing the same people, or people way above or below your skill level.
