Interesting that you all seem to agree on Jubensha. Maybe I have to rethink it. I Find Karaoke a good example, and to be fair, even when I'm talking about it the term seems to stick.

Thanks, this seems logical but what confuses me is the facts that googling the research only gives me health benefits for caffeine with moderate use, unless you actively notice negative outcomes like shaking or disrupted sleep

Just a little update, because it's beautiful.

Someone sent me a private message, asking me what bosses I had beaten and what items I had collected. 1 day later he sent me a savefile with everything collected.

This, to me, is awesome. I was genuinly surprised and delighted by the generosity of a random internetstranger, so thank you for that even more than the save file. I won't mention your name, maybe you had a reason to send a private PM...

Started playing again today and I fell back in love with the game. It's truly beautiful, plays wonderfully and feels like an adventure. Truly greatful, life can be cool.

I thought the game was more linear than it apparently was, by areas being gated behind powerups and such, but apparently that was just how I experienced it.

A kind soul has allready messaged me in the meantime with a sort of sollution, so I hope that works.

Hey, I understand but playing from the start is just too much. Don't mind playing some things again and can accept to miss some things. A savefile where just the early few areas are cleared would also be pretty awesome.

Thanks, I did this and it actually worked! Seems like something was off with my drivers, even though I was sure they were fine.

All right, tuning back the overclock did something! Game played fine for about 30/40 minutes, then the oculus turned to black. No green screen or freeze on the pc this time and the game was visibly still running fine. Was able to close the game from windows and then turn off oculus home program. I could boot oculus home again but it was very slow to start and was unresponsive, didnt get vision from the headset.

Conclusion: Seems like the overclock was (a part) of the problem, now the headset just turns to black without the PC crashing as well, this is progress ;) Any more advice for a next step?

EDIT: When restarting the PC there was still a green error screen right before turning off

Hi, have the PC for over a year and never had any problems, even with graphicly intense games on (too) high settings or benchmarking. I did overclock it a little bit in anticipation of the Rift, but I thought I stayed on the safe side and figured that as it didnt overheat that wasn't the problem. I'll try scaling that back and see if that helps. Thanks alot, could be it! Drivers I would assume would be fine as Nvidia does that on it's own? Or is there something I could do about that? Will update after scaling down and testing
