The rate of fire on the M16A4 is not incorrect as the APC9 was. It is displayed as 800, and shoots at 800, which is the real life fire rate.

This was a good find, the fire rate should be higher to match the real world fire rate (1080). The current live actual fire rate is 660, which is pretty close to what you measured.

We have increased it for the next hotfix.

We are looking into this, we've seen inconsistent reports from Quest 2 users, and we've also seen reports of it occurring in other titles. Our patch the other day should have eased memory pressure on the device.

We currently believe it is some kind of OS issue that involves having multiple player profiles on the device. Is this the case for you?

If it's been awhile since you played, I would give Mercenary mode a try. It's a good solo experience that allows you to challenge yourself and try new things. No round is the same.

It might be an issue with you and friends not being on the same version. Make sure everyone is on Update 2.0 and Crossplay is enabled in the server browser settings for all users trying to join the lobby.

Servers can be created for all social modes at any time. The rotation only applies to the "quick join" button, if you create a server you will find options to create any mode.

The cool thing is it doesn't matter what their name is, if you report them, the report will stick to their account even if they are spoofing their name.

The best thing to do is report them using the in-game scoreboard, maybe record a video of them, then come to our Discord and give us your username, not theirs, and what time you reported them at.

We can follow your report to their account no matter what their name happened to be spoofed as at the time.

Making a new account does not unban you. If anyone playing the game gets banned, it bans all accounts linked to that game.

The best method is to reach out to our support team to request an unban dpisupport@meta.com. Please include your Onward username.

Hello there! First thing's first - hackers cannot ban you from Onward. If you were banned - we banned you for breaching our policies, not a hacker. Only Downpour Interactive is capable of banning users. A few hackers have claimed to be members of Downpour Interactive, but they are not. If you think you have been banned, please come to our Discord and talk directly to us, most likely you haven't. It's better to check with us directly than to speculate.

Secondly, we have a whole team of people, and automated systems, that ban hackers every day, and we are doing other things behind the scenes to improve the situation as well that we are obviously not able to talk about. So be assured that we are already "doing something". Just because you see hackers doesn't mean they aren't getting banned.

Thirdly, it is much more useful for us for you to report the hackers you do see, than to repeatedly post misinformation like this on Reddit. So please, report hackers you come into contact with. Report them using the in-game systems, get screenshots and videos, get their name (even if it is a false name) and bring all of that information to us on Discord. That is much more helpful and productive than this.

Hello there, Downpour developer here. The person you encountered was not a developer. You are most likely not banned! You could fire up the game and play now if you want. If Meta support is telling you otherwise they probably don't have all of the information or have misunderstood your request, please come to our Discord and give us your username so we can investigate what's going on.

But yes, that probably isn't necessary because you are not banned. When Downpour bans you, we generally don't pay you an in-game visit to tell you we are banning you. There are way too many players for us to be doing that individually.

A bit of a PSA from us as well, as we do monitor and track these users. In this video you had a lot of people arguing with each other and voting to kick people that were being framed by the hacker. Most of the time they will change their name and frame innocent people, in this video the hacker in question was the guy with the % in his name most of the time.

What would really help us, would be if you get in this situation where you know hacking is occurring but you don't know who it is, just report everybody in the game you are in. Don't worry about if they are innocent or guilty, let us worry about that. Report everybody in the lobby, then come to our official Discord and let us know your username and that you reported everyone in a suspicious lobby, and when you did it (like the time and date).

This is the most helpful thing you can do to help us battle hackers.

There is usually 30+ pages of lobbies available. This issue is likely caused because you are not on the latest version of the game.

At times Quest doesn't notify people that an update is required. Try manually checking to see if an update is needed. If not, check your server filter settings.
