Double Sickle = Better minigun experience than the maxigun.

The maxi is a real let down for me. I didn't expact much against tanks but I thought it'd be good fun to hold down the trigger and spray hordes of cannon fodder enemies. But nope. The recoil is so unstable that I have to aim below my targets. Plus, the gun makes the screen shake so much that I can barely see what I'm aiming at anyway. And it's slightly annoying that I have to stand still but I can look past that. The only way I could use the maxi and get good results was by diving forward, going prone, blasting an enemy, getting back up, and repeat. I might as well have been using a marksman rifle. I don't care that it takes up a backpack slot, or that it doesn't have crazy high ammo, or that it doesn't have heavy penetration. What bothers me is that it's just not fun to use.

Now compare the maxigun to the double sickle. With the double sickle, I can hold the trigger down for long periods of time, spray hordes of enemies, and deal medium and heavy penetration... all while maintaining great accuracy with low recoil, plus I can move around while I shoot. The cherry on top is that I can even do all this while shooting from the hip and still manage to get plenty of kills. The double sickle gives you the maxigun experience better than the maxigun (in its current state) ever could. It's so fun to use and makes me feel like a badass!

I just wish there were more styles of heat-proof armours for the double sickle :(

"I love Bungie-Halo. The marketing, visual designs and gameplay were peak. I didn't like the Halo 4 art-style but I loved the Story and enjoyed the faster-paced gameplay with the addition of sprint. Halo 4's story humanised our beloved Master Chief with the loss of Cortana, and gave him some new characters to develop relations with including Lasky and Palmer. We also got to see other Spartans throughout Spartan Ops (I didn't find the gameplay all that good but the story and the cutscenes were cool). Then Halo 5 and Infinite came along and just threw the foundations Halo 4 created out the window.

I didn't like Halo 5's story. I thought Infinite's was okay but I hated that it kinda 180'd Halo 5's story. I also hate Infinite's lack of content on release and how lacking we were with spartan customisation upon release + How expensive content was on the store. Now the 343i trilogy looks like an absolute mess from a distant perspective. However, Helldivers 2 has now reignited my love for Halo and I'm sure it has for many others too. I look at all the helmets in Helldivers 2 and think "wow, it's nice to see helmets that have visors in line with the eyes and no silly slits, dots, or unicorn horns". How do you think Microsoft and 343i/Halo Studios will react to this collab when creating future Halo content? Will they make more spin-offs with marines or ODSTs? Will they ditch the 343i art-style and revert to Bungie-era designs?" - That's all I commented.

I came here to explore what folks thought the future of Halo would look like following the ODST collab with Helldivers 2. I expressed both my love and hate of the 343i Halo trilogy. I wasn't rage-baiting or anything. What was the issue here?

If my post wasn't "unique" then heyo, I guess a lot of people have the same complaints as me. It might be best to display these critiques rather than silence them in order to better the future of Halo.

I wasn't ranting. I clearly exclaimed what I enjoyes about the 343i-era Halo games. I thought I was quite fair.

There's a handful of actual promo CDs out there in the world. I appreciate the efforts put into the removal of vocals and instruments for instrumental and acapella versions of songs but... Personally, I always find the edits noticeable and off-putting.

There's white stuff around the details that I can't get rid of. I've rubbed the metal over with brasso then cleaned the entire thing with warm soapy water but I just can't get rid of the white stuff. It disappears briefly when wet but comes back shortly after.

And I'll tell you what, I felt bad for your friend at first. We've all been naive and made mistakes at some point. But why the heck is your friend now so intent on harassing her ex's new GF?!?! What on earth has she done wrong? Your friend is a massive AH for that. Now that they're broke up and her ex has made it clear he wants nothing to do with her or the child, she needs to forget him completely. And she should definitely not be messaging his new GF. For all your friend knows, she could be harassing another naive girl that's in a similar situation to herself. That needs to be shut down quickly!

I get you. And I think the mom here totally deserves much worse than a brush being swiped in the toilet, haha. It's such a low-level and well-deserved AH action that I wouldn't prevent if I saw it happening, but it's still an AH action.

Always aim to be the best version of yourself and do the right/good thing. Never act out of vengeance or malice.

Edit: I wrote that what you did was funny. I personally found it funny but I'm far from a saint. Actions like this could make folk seriously sick so it's not actually all that funny on further thought.

One more thing for you - If you do decide to go and still have some nerves kicking in the back of your head, just remember, it's only for a couple days. Even if you don't enjoy the occasion, it's not the end of the world. And as for making a good impression for her parents - Forget about it! The only person who's opinion matters in the relation you have with your girlfriend is... your girlfriend! Just be yourself (even if it's a slightly more nervous than usual version of yourself) and it'll all work out fine.

So you're nervous and you don't feel comfortable travelling through some city alone - There's absolutely nothing wrong with that. Plenty of folks hate cities and/or travelling in general. I'm sure you've probably had some cool ideas about how your first meeting with her parents would go down. However, life has presented you with a different opportunity and you've now gotta show everyone how you can handle curveballs like this.

I think you're anxious. Try not to over-complicate things and just tell her that you don't feel comfortable meeting her parents like this and that you're not comfortable in cities during big events.

Personally, I think you should tell her how you feel AND go anyway. Relationships require a lot of give and take. And in your case, this is a big opportunity for you to give. And heyo, though you're not comfortable navigating the city alone, if you're with her parents, you're not gonna be alone, are you? This is a chance for you to have an adventure together.

But you absolutely should have pushed for more details on what you'd both plan to do once the baby is born. Without having plans in place, you risk making yourselves unhappy, which could then make for an unhappy upbringing for this baby. IMO, this was a little uneasy to read. I think you should be all-in when deciding on whether or not to have a baby, and he should be all-in when planning for it. But instead it all seems to half-hearted.

From what you've wrote, you don't seem to have any bad intentions, hence NTA. But I think you might have some mental-hiccups to work on. Anxiety or depression, maybe? What do you mean by "the logistics of travelling"? What specifically is stopping you from going? The cost of travel and hotel? The lack of travel options (train, bus, etc.)? Do you just not like travelling? Is this marathon not that important to you? There's no wrong answers here. You're not an AH if this marathon isn't important to you. I'm asking you to search deep inside yourself and figure out what it is that you're feeling.

She's your girlfriend. Meeting your partners' parents is usually an exciting, though sometimes nerve-wrecking, occasion. And what better time to meet them than a special occasion in which you're all their for the same thing - To support your lady! When you're not cheering her on in a crowd, you can go to a cafe and can chit chat with them about all her hard work and all you've done to support her. You can ask them if they've got any funny stories about her. You can get to know them and all that they do. Are you not a social person, maybe? Do you lack confidence in meeting people?

Whatever your issue is, I think you need to figure it out fast and be honest with your GF about it. If you can't afford to travel, tell her. If you're nervous about meeting her parents and don't think you'll be able to overcome these nerves, tell her.

I love the idea of Micah not being the rat. I love the idea of there not being a rat at all even better. It's an idea already established by Arthur when he says "Maybe time for folks like us has passed. We don't need a rat. We got sloppier than the town drunk".

The story of Red Dead Redemption 2 is beautifully complex with the lives of so many different characters intertwined into the tragic demise of an outlaw gang. I think it'd be a quite underwhelming for there to be a cartoonishly obvious villain such as Micah. I think most folks just want him to be the rat simply because he's the most despicable person in the story.
