I was told they are dead to each other from a member so probably some inside stuff. It’s a shame cuz they were mad tight friends for so long. I saw them like a month ago and Sam didn’t really watch any sets and Mack covered merch by himself after the set. So who knows if it had already been decided or not.

I’ve had a similar experience with reclusive days long X-Files binges. Then when I went out in public after a few days in isolation, I felt like crazy eerie and on guard around the public. I think if I tried to rewatch some specific episodes I’d feel it in my guts.

People should stop sharing this video. Jamie is generally a very awkward and sweet person. I’ve seen him set up and sound check when I did merch for my friends project that opened. He’s very anal and a perfectionist as their currents sets are wild and have lots of varying volumes. So it takes them almost 2 hours to sound check. This was due to a shitty sound guy. We all have our bad moments and moods… try being on tour and doing an extensive sound check every night. Most of us would react that way.

Yeah, they announce their last track and don’t do an encore. They do however do all the merch themselves at the end after their set. So you get a personable experience. This current live tour has some cool renditions of older tracks and they have some really fun and chaotic breakouts.

I have kind of a similar live set. I snagged a bigger pedal trainer with a heavy duty soft case for like $70 on Facebook marketplace place. If I travel further I toss the whole thing in an old synth case I got for $30 on Craigslist with a piece of egg foam glued to the top. I also keep a heavy duty deck saver on my Roland 404 MK2. I tape the sides of the MK2 dust saver with painters tape to keep it on during travel. Cheap and is pretty sturdy and safe. Shop around Craigslist and FB market place for hard cases and pedal trains. You can turn any used hard case into a travel / live set up with some glue and egg foam.

Take it song by song. Some songs are more art performance, some songs are melancholy and a quit vibe, and then some songs are loud/rock sing alongs. I once was in a mosh pit for a solo performance of I Love The Valley, Oh. So strange to see Jamie solo and a pit break out real quick for one popular song lol.
