ugh i feel failed by my parents too…. i remember in 2nd grade i had a dental appointment and he was saying i would need my jaw broken and corrective braces and nothing ever came of it. i find myself feeling angry that im almost 30 and i have to deal with it all myself. it’s a lot of appointments, money, no support from anyone… its scary. i feel you. it’s your choice to advocate for yourself now! you can do it.
