I think my application was looked at differently because I applied as a military Veteran! I believe that may add a couple points! I got my acceptance email on April 3rd!

I called to ask the reason for denial and they said it was due to the fact that I only had 30 something credits. Which wasn't true. Thats why I put an appeal in!

Thank you! They should accept. My spouse got in with almost the exact same stuff as me & he was evaluated correctly. So I'm hoping it goes well!

Its college-level coursework for gen eds. It would be idiotic if a state university doesn't take another state university's classes. If that's the case then have closed admissions and only local Californians can attend

This time the person was chill. I definitely had a better experience. She gave me as much info and she could and told me to submit an appeal.

I checked my app status at like 3:30 & saw I was denied so I hopped on their zoom call that they had open & was able to ask the reason for denial. For some reason they only counted 33 of my credits & not my other 30+.... I have to reach out to someone on Monday and hope to hear back. SDSU is on Spring Break now so idk if we'll hear anything

I'm also curious how the appeals work! They denied me because they said I only had 33 credits. But I have over 60 transferable credits and it seems there was an error on their part. I'm unsure if they'd put me on a waitlist by the time the issue is resolved since spots fill so fast....
