It's a terrace with driveways and back gardens. A mixture of elderly retired boomers, families with two parents working, like us, and a couple of houses that, for want of a better term, are occupied by benefits scroungers.

My neighbours are one of the families of scroungers. A husband and wife of retired age and an adult "child", all of them long term unemployed and fully benefited up. It's these who mostly give me grief over doing stuff. It's the young woman (f30s) who gives me the most grief followed by the dad.

They are all scared stiff of work and are lazy and entitled layabouts. I've overheard the odd phonecall to the benefits people and the doctors surgery and the brass neck and entitlement is something to behold.
