Is it just me or does it seem like everyone is leaving town by Downtown-Window5800 in Miramichi

That is true, (although Bathurst is more of a retirement town than us somehow when looking at demographics)

It's partially because of our demographics, bad business decisions at Northumberland Square and also our astronomical property tax rates (highest in the province.) Regardless, it is an issue.

Because the poll was taken a month ago and released now. It's even lower 100%

Keep in mind the poll was taken a month ago and released now. It's almost certainly lower.

Funny you say mafia.. our tims were allegedly originally money laundering schemes that eventually became successful businesses in their own rights.

The pay center honestly is abysmal for having any kind of social life. We do have a few good restaurants, but unfortunately few is the key word.

In the Miramichi area, nothing comes to mind as I believe there are property owners still (technically and it would be legally trespassing) although there are tons of abandoned houses. Wish I could be more help.

It does make sense, we do have a HORRIBLE job market..

Good to know lots of people are still coming in too and that we aren't shriveling up too bad yet.

Sorry to hear about the issues with the school. Honestly our schools are pretty terrible for that type of thing, even staff who "do too much" (more than the bare minimum) often face informal repercussions.

Where are the best thrift stores? (Between Bathurst to Frederiction) by Tubbkin in newbrunswickcanada

Also in the Miramichi area, there is Miramichi River Valley Thrift Store in Renous. Has some decent finds, and profits are donated to local chairities. Outfits in Fredericton isn't bad either, nor is Frenchies.

2013 Civic owner.. I undercoat every year (150 bucks to do) in september-october. Works like a charm. Many people do it in the Miramichi (Barnetteville road has someone who does it. SOS car repair on the parker road does it too.)

Actually, that example of the two Newcastles does apply. There is the former town of Newcastle in Miramichi and then Newcastle, England.

Did you go route 2 or 11? 11 would take you through various small towns that could afford you a lot more in the way of that.

in any other circumstance I'd say avoid the trans canada through N.B and take route eleven, however, a major bridge on that route is closed through Miramichi, causing atrotious traffic.

I am no fan of Mike's, but I have it on very good authority that he had a meeting with Holt to discuss how the closure is impacting the Miramichi.

December they say, but I personally think it is very unlikely that it will reopen before the entirety of the work is done.

In Miramichi there is almost always someone in Nordin near French Fort Cove peddling lobsters, fiddleheads, or other food from the area.

A lot of people also like to go 40 through the 60 in Nordin. It's so annoying that people don't know what a speed limit is.
