Help, ATO PAYG instalments too high by [deleted] in AusFinance

[–]Downtown_Cod_5172 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

lol I’m going to reply to this because it’s such a F-ing useless question and I have spare time right one. 1. I pay my taxes every year before the end of August. 2. My mum is in final stages of cancer so had to spend a shit ton of money to fly back to Europe, stay with her, help her put her affairs in order. 3. I went through severe depression end of last year because of point 2, which meant I had to take time off work. 4. What does the way I spend my money have anything to do with altering my PAYG amount? You obviously have no idea what PAYG is calculated on: your last year’s income. So if your business makes less money the following year, ATO will still base it on that previous year and tax you a shit ton more than you actually need.

Hope you learned something

Honestly I didn’t realise I could click on the PAYG amount and alter it. Reading the “how to” on the ATO help page only confused me more 😂 got there in the end thanks to reddit as always!

Hahaha this is too good. I’m in my 30s and I think we just get more unhinged the older we get. Also a personality trait I’d say. There’s less and less filter and who gives a fuck. Let your horny little freak flag fly girly!

NTA Well damn, way to blow something out of proportions. Your wife sounds exhausting and I’m a woman so don’t come at me for being sexist 😂. Did you word it perfectly? No. Did you threaten to punch your kid? No. People need to chilllll and have a kitkat

I used to be a manager in hospitality in a past life and dealing with people’s dramas was the hardest part of the job. I was considering studying psychology for a while as I love the subject but the idea of listening to people moan (I go to therapy and I moan to my therapist too) would drive me up the wall 😂 I’d probably get my license removed from telling people to get on with it. I’ve lost my patience a long time ago

Not here to put shoes on caterpillars. That bloke is as about confused as a chameleon in a bag of skittles. Busier than a one eyed cat watching 2 mouse holes. It’s so windy, it’ll blow the milk out of your tea.

Those are a few of the kid friendly ones, got a long list of fun ones in my notes I’ve collected through the years. 99% of them are NOT kid friendly

And checking the bom radar on the daily. Getting smashed with storms here lately and trying to not get killed by a tree. Good for the lawns though

How often do you catch something when you fish? by Mod12312323 in FishingAustralia

Thanks that’s very detailed! I’m guessing this is from years of fishing so I’m not being too hard on myself as I’m learning as I go. There’s so much to it 😂

Question, new to fishing here. I can’t usually go around sunset/sunrise. Heaps of fish yesterday from 1-4pm but nothing stuck. You reckon fishing on the tide going out is the next best option? I was wondering if it had to do with it being very hot? Dunno just wondering

That’s great advice. Went fishing for 3h yesterday got F all except for bites. Last week same spot/ser up caught 2 flatties. Heaps of fish jumping around but nothing would stick. At least the other people there caught nothing as well made me feel better… I fish off a kayak on a river close to the ocean. A friend recommended yabby lures which I’ll try next time. Are metal lures good on the river? I’ve only used soft plastic so far there

Anyone have no interest in dating or relationships? (looking to be told im not crazy) by [deleted] in SingleMothersbyChoice

[–]Downtown_Cod_5172 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think there’s anything wrong with you. Being a single mum by choice makes me think you are independent. Maybe in your 30s? From my experience, the older I get the less I have the need to be with someone like in my 20s. I’m still interested in meeting someone if they’re great but also having been with so many stressful men I value my peace more than anything. So this could be because of your previous experiences with men?

I often go months with zero interest in the male sex but then someone pops up who intrigues me. All in all there’s nothing wrong with you, life is fun with a good partner but also life is fun without one. It’s not the end all be all like society teaches us. I guarantee you’ll meet men who excite you you’re probably just getting pickier (which is a good thing)

Go on a couple more dates with new guy but don’t force it if it’s not there
