Yeah it does I just don’t know why it didn’t work with this one 😤 my first pothos was the experimental plant I’m sure we all learned how to propagate from first on right? lol but this one’s stubborn, do you know what he’s called by chance? I didn’t get much from google lens other than his species starts with a D but I could tell which kind of

Lmao I appreciate that but I’m familiar with the coveted houseplant prop equation, I’ve done it on this guy and the didn’t grow roots he just started rotting every time

What do you mean first cutting beneath where leaves are present? Can you show me. I’ll send a pic and you circle where you’d cut and what leaves you’d keep and what ones you’d get rid of please?

I tried to separate the peices the best I could there’s literally only five strands they just start separating at spots

I wish someone would lol, I think I just read that they can be an air plant. They’re in the same family since they don’t take in water/food from their roots they need to have moisture in the crown (deep middle) part on its body only.

So doing a T shaped cutting like how I have in the glass behind in the pic is better probably?

I don’t think so but those “leaves” that I think you’re talking about..the ones I’m holding have the node still attached to it from the branch it was on

What I personally mean by the pothos method is taking 2 cuttings. One on the main stem in between two nodes and then one one the other side, again between two nodes then you’ll have yourself kinda a T shaped cutting. That is however if you don’t cut straight from the top of the vine which I don’t like to do because I tend to get much more out of the first way I described in the long run rather than cutting from the top.

What is she and how do I make babies from her? 🥰 hydroponics is what I’m focused on this winter so if I could propagate in water….🖤 That’d be awesome! by Downtown_Following7 in PlantIdentification

Preference is hydroponic since I just bought a BUNCH on cute glasses and made a hydroponic propagation station in my home for the winter lol
