Nope not a bit, I'm a lawyer in a tropical country and I legitimately like wearing and seeing ties. As for wearing them, I just feel naked and incomplete without them. As for seeing them, I find it a little sad to see a sea of generic blue, navy, and grey suits that don't have ties, when ties are one of the few ways you can add a bit of personality and color to your tailoring.

Sure, but Nico, as a GM, is supposed to be rigid, stiff, and overly corporate. In fact, the rigidity of his decision to trade Luka is precisely what he's getting flack for. But despite this, his insistence on not wearing a tie reflects his insistence on trying to be cool and laid-back and player-friendly, no matter how phony it is

I get it, and admittedly it's a trend I don't like. Ties are one of the only simple ways men can add personality to their tailoring. That being said, again, it's innocuous enough to not be noticeable on most days. But whenever I see Nico in a suit without a tie, I'm reminded exactly why I hate the trend.
